Work to resurface the 4,226 meters of Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli has commenced, with the project being overseen by Jarno Zaffelli’s Dromo company. Weather permitting, the changes are scheduled to be completed by Tuesday 10th March.

The list of tasks to complete at Misano is as follows:
- 53,000 square meters of asphalt with high adherence exclusive salt-proof and moisture formulation
- Run-off areas redesigned for an increase in size
- Installation of new, re-profiled, flatter kerbs with embedded drainage
- New, removable anti-skin paints to re-profile corners to improve riding/driving pleasure
